Either way, I think the collection is as cheap as any of the recent deals or cheaper than buying everything individually from the start. That's what I initially thought as well, but my Canadian gaming friends informed me the $60 Forsaken collection would bye $80 for them, so it dawned on me that he might be using Canadian gaming prices and only have the base game. I know the base game went on sale at multiple places, but I'm not aware of any sales on the DLC outside the season pass. You are getting the base game and 2 DLCs for the price of 1 DLC. Here the DLCs were each $20 and Forsaken $40 for a total of $80 if bought separately or $60 if bought in the Collection, so even if you are rebuying the base game with the collection it is still cheaper. So while you might "feel" you're getting ripped off by having to buy the base game again, I think it is still a cheaper deal than buying the sum of the parts individually. Your other option would have been to buy DLC 1, DLC 2, and Forsaken all separately, which I believe would be more expensive than buying this collection. All of these are in-game items nothing physical. You get a Legendary Sword, Legendary Player Emote, and Cabal Empire Themed Emblem. The Digital Deluxe Edition nets you the base game, Expansion Pass, and a whole lot of Premium Digital Content. I believe you are using prices in Canadian dollars which means things are more expensive than in US dollars, so $80 would probably not give you the DLC. The Destiny 2 Digital Deluxe Edition is where it gets a bit more serious. You confused me with your prices, when you said you bought the base game for $80 I assumed you had DLC.
